Amelia Tru Harrell’s work—from 3D printing to plaster and ceramics—uses amorphous forms, found objects and tile surfaces to explore the ways in which water can act as a powerful sculptural force. Her work echoes the movement of water and the slow process of weathering. More recently, the predominance of plastics in contemporary societies prompts a concern for the environment.
