The inspiration for the work pictured here is that moment before going to sleep every night when Yuxuan (Gloria) An lies in bed and watches her phone. It’s a special time. She imagines other busy people browsing their phones before bedtime and getting lost in this happy time. The later you go to sleep, the deeper this sense of emptiness will be.
