Yaxin Tu

From the artist: The healthy lifestyle that the middle class and upper-class pursuing once a while is to eat organic food. It was not only popular in the white house. The idea of raising the vegetable and fruit goes along to the animal.

I try to express the links between my personal social experiences through color, composition, and theme. The goose–a subject in this series–becomes a symbol of culture, consumerism, morality, and social order.

From the artist: I saw the moment when the geese being taken the feather by the machines on the assembly line. Each goose became the target of those insensible computers like the hunter dog.

The goose web is one of the most popular dishes in China. It is stir-frying by the chef.

From the artist: I always think about myself as a human being who is the spectator of the world. Did animals, like the goose, have the same kind of action behavior to observe humankind.

From the artist: In the South region of China, rural people air-dried the geese outside in the open space during winter. They stored the air-dried geese in the cool place and able to hold them for a year.

From the artist: It is a combination of landscape paintings that contains the elements of mountain, river, rock, and cloud with the geese. The geese are integrating with the landscape barely discernible.

The moment of processing the geese and the upside-down way of hanging the geese reminds me of the willow. The dead geese arranged on a production line just like the low-hanging branches of the tree.

From the artist: It is a moment that trying to capture the moment of dragging the progress bar in a video. The downside is blurry, and the main scene narrative is relevant in focus.
