Biography
Commonly referred to as a figurative painter, New York-based artist Sanya Kantarovsky prefers to discuss his paintings in terms of historical influences, graphic design corollaries and narratives that touch upon a wide variety of subjects, ranging from the humorous to the socio-political. Kantarovsky has exhibited widely in places such as White Cube, London; The 31st Biennial of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana, Slovenia; and SculptureCenter, NY, among others.
